Can a girl fall in love with someone at a distance?

I´m so scared about it, cause i´m not used to that kind of feelings :S

I think I can , but I shouldn´t do it , because is not gonna work

cause maybe that person don´t feel the same :/  ...

 And I will be ashamed!
